Dr. Skylar Giddens was born and raised in Louisiana. Growing up in a family that owned and operated a bridal business, he developed an appreciation for small businesses and the meaningful relationships they build within their communities. As a first-generation dentist, Dr. Giddens takes great pride in combining those values with his passion for helping others.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Louisiana Tech University before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. His interest in dentistry began after frequently shadowing his hometown dentist and seeing firsthand the positive impact dental care can have on a person’s confidence, health, and quality of life.
Dr. Giddens enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is excited to be part of the dedicated team at Clark Dental Group. He believes everyone deserves to feel heard, respected, and at ease during their dental visits. Through compassionate, patient-centered care, he strives to create a positive experience for every person who walks through the door. Dr. Giddens is also a proud member of the American Dental Association.
He is honored to join a practice whose values closely align with his own and is especially grateful to call Texas home, having relocated to the area to be closer to family.
Outside the office, Dr. Giddens enjoys staying active, playing tennis, traveling, and West Virginia Mountaineers football. A fun fact about Dr. Giddens is that he has an identical twin.
